Lakefront season guests install and enjoy their own private docks where they can fish from their own campsites! Or, if you're only visiting for just a few days, you may temporarily tie up your boat or canoe near our 2 big docks. (Boats with valid license/registration from another state can be used in our Michigan lakes. Be sure you have Life Vests/Cushions in your boat.
The campground also carries ice for $1.75. Ask at Site 22, Barb or at Site 5, Don.

Come and enjoy beautiful Hemlock Lake. Our shaded Campsites have electric and water connections for your convenience. Remote campsites available. We also have our popular "Camping Cabin" available by advance reservation.Swim in the clear water at our Sandy Beach.
Deer, Geese, Turkey and other wildlife are frequently seen in and around the campground!
Hemlock Lake Campground covers the entire South end of spring fed Hemlock Lake, which has depths reaching over 100 feet! Hemlock Lake is stocked with Bass, Bluegills, Perch, Channel Catfish and Trout. (Michigan Law requires: Trout must be 12 inches in length, Bass must be 14 inches.) Hemlock Lake is a designated Trout Lake. Purchase an All Species License at Carlton Hardware or at local bait shops. There are 30 other lakes within 8 miles of the campground.
